Roger Shimomura (born 1939 in Seattle, Washington) is an American artist and a retired professor at the University of Kansas. His works, showcased across the United States, address Asian American sociopolitical issues by the use of racist imagery.

Shimomura was interned as a child at the Minidoka War Relocation Center in Idaho during World War II.[1] He graduated from Syracuse University with an MFA.
His work is in the collection of University of Washington,[2] and Washburn University.[3]
He showed at the Missoula Art Museum.[4]
